Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours)

The Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) is the aerospace specialisation of Monash's Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), a four-year degree that qualifies graduates as accredited professional engineers. Students complete a common first year exploring the engineering disciplines, then specialise in aerospace engineering from second year, studying aerodynamics, propulsion, structures, flight mechanics, materials and control, with hands-on design-and-build projects and an integrated work placement. Teaching uses Monash's research facilities and academics. The degree carries professional accreditation recognised through the Washington Accord. Graduates work as aerospace, aeronautical, mechanical and systems engineers in aircraft and spacecraft design, defence, aviation, propulsion, and advanced manufacturing, as well as broader engineering and analytical roles.
