About this program

The Bachelor of Design is a three-year degree taught on campus at Caulfield, with an offering also in Indonesia. Students apply for the degree and then choose a specialisation after first semester in Communication Design, Industrial Design, Spatial Design or Collaborative Design, graduating with a degree named in that specialisation. The course emphasises inclusive, ethical and sustainable practice and real-world projects, including an internship elective, and has no folio entrance requirement. All Monash design degrees are recognised by the Design Institute of Australia. Graduates work as communication and graphic designers, industrial and product designers, spatial and exhibition designers, service and experience designers, and design strategists across studios, industry and the public sector.
