About this program

Monash University Master of Economics is a two-year program covering economic development, competition policy, economic policy, project evaluation, and pricing, risk and regulation. Students can build deep knowledge in a defined stream such as development economics or policy economics, or design their own selection of units around their career goals. Monash Business School is one of a small number of schools worldwide accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, and its economics teaching has a strong applied and policy orientation. Applicants must satisfy the entrance requirements; those applying on the basis of work experience provide a detailed CV of their employment history, and all applicants must meet Monash English language requirements. International tuition is about A$61,700 per year. Graduates practise as professional economists across the public and private sectors, in policy, research and analytical roles.
