About this program
The Graduate Certificate in Economics is a half-year postgraduate program at UQ's St Lucia campus that builds on prior study of economic concepts. Students take courses in consumer and firm behaviour, the macroeconomy and elements of econometrics, plus an elective, developing the analytical ability, critical thinking and decision-making skills employers value. Admissions
To be eligible for entry, you'll need: a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (see below). You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification. Relevant disciplines for previous qualifications Relevant disciplines include economics, business, or commerce; or a bachelor's degree containing at least 4 courses in any 3 of the following areas: microeconomics macroeconomics statistics mathematics
