About this program

Monash University's Master of Nursing Practice is a two-year graduate-entry degree that qualifies people who are not already nurses to apply for registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. It is offered at the Clayton and Peninsula campuses. Clinical placements begin in the first semester, so classroom learning in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, mental health and acute care is applied in supervised practice from early in the course. Applicants must meet the NMBA English language standard for registration. Graduates begin practice as registered nurses across hospital, community, aged care and mental health settings. Indicative international tuition is around A$48,800 per year; confirm the current figure with Monash.
