Bachelor of Criminology Honours
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A one-year honours year following a Bachelor of Criminology or a related degree at Murdoch. It adds advanced coursework in research methods and a supervised thesis on a criminology or criminal justice question, in areas such as policing, corrections, cybercrime, youth justice or crime prevention. Entry requires a completed bachelor's degree with a strong grade average, usually a credit average or better, in the relevant field. The honours result is classified, and a first or upper second class is the standard requirement for a PhD and for research and policy roles in the justice sector. It suits criminology graduates who want to research a question in depth before a higher degree or an analyst career.
