Bachelor of Engineering Technology

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

A three-year degree accredited by Engineers Australia at engineering technologist level, with a major in electrical and renewable energy engineering, environmental engineering, or industrial control and automation engineering.

Murdoch runs a real engineering plant on campus, the Bayer pilot plant with its own control room, described as the only facility of its kind in WA, so students train on industrial equipment rather than simulations. Entry is an ATAR of about 70 with VET and mature-age pathways. It suits students who want an applied, hands-on engineering career, and it articulates into the two-year Master of Engineering Practice for those who want to reach professional engineer level.
