Bachelor of Information Technology and Business
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A three-year degree that deliberately sits between IT and business rather than training programmers. Students learn programming, networking and data management alongside management, communication and entrepreneurship, with the aim of designing and managing technology solutions that serve business goals.
Learning is project-based, with real-world challenges and time in Murdoch's IT Innovation Hub, and industry partners shaped the course. Entry is an ATAR of about 70. It targets roles such as business analyst, IT consultant, systems analyst, project coordinator and digital transformation specialist, and suits students who are more interested in how organisations use technology and make decisions than in software development.
