Bachelor of Laws (LLB) - Graduate Entry
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A three-year accelerated LLB for people who already hold a bachelor's degree in any field, giving a full professional law qualification without repeating undergraduate breadth. It is accredited by the Legal Practice Board of Western Australia, so completion satisfies the academic requirement for admission to legal practice in WA (the practical legal training component is completed separately after graduation).
Practical experience is built in through the SCALES community law clinic, where students work with real clients, a mooting program in a purpose-built courtroom, and work-integrated learning placements with firms, government and community legal centres. Recognition of prior learning may give advanced standing. It suits graduates from science, health, criminology, business or arts backgrounds who want to practise law or pair legal skills with their existing field.
