Bachelor of Psychology Honours
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
The APAC-accredited fourth year of psychology study at Murdoch, taken after a three-year accredited psychology sequence. It combines advanced coursework with a supervised empirical research thesis, and completing it is a required step toward registration as a psychologist: graduates go on to a professional master's or doctorate, or the 5+1 internship pathway. Entry is competitive and based mainly on the grade average across core psychology units. The result is classified, and a higher classification improves access to the limited places in professional postgraduate programs. It suits psychology graduates committed to the professional pathway, and it also supports research and applied roles on its own.
