Bachelor of Science Honours
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
A one-year science honours year following a Bachelor of Science or a related degree at Murdoch, in a discipline such as biological science, chemistry, environmental science, physics, mathematics, or one of Murdoch's strengths in veterinary and animal science, agriculture and food science. It combines advanced research-methods coursework with a supervised research project and thesis. Entry requires a completed bachelor's degree with a strong grade average, usually a credit average or better, in the relevant field. The honours result is classified, and a first or upper second class is the standard requirement for PhD entry and research scholarships. It suits science graduates who want a research year before a doctorate or a research career.
