About this program
This course gives science graduates and food industry employees the chance to develop theoretical and practical skills while working in a real food processing environment at the Murdoch Food Centre, part of the Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA). Students choose units based on their interests or relevant field of work, and can progress to the Graduate Diploma on successful completion of the Graduate Certificate.

Admissions
Bachelor of Science in a cognate discipline (AQF Level 7). Other AQF Level 7 qualifications will be considered if they are broadly relevant to food science and contain units in biological or chemical sciences, at the discretion of the Academic Chair. Satisfactory preparation for the course through informal or non-formal learning and/or professional experiences subject to the approval of the Academic Chair.
