Graduate Certificate in Health Care Management

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

This course is for people working in a healthcare environment who want the skills to navigate change, lead teams, and drive innovation, and suits health and clinical administrators, coordinators, and supervisors moving into leadership or management roles. It covers leadership and managerial skills, financial management in healthcare, and policy and human factor considerations relevant to a clinical context. Graduates can apply for the Master of Health Care Management and receive credit for units already completed that are common to both degrees. Health care management is a general management field rather than a nominated skilled migration occupation, so it is better suited to building a health-sector career within Australia than to a direct points-based migration pathway. The course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
