About this program
The Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology provides the postgraduate qualification needed to work as an accredited Exercise Physiologist. Students learn to develop, implement, and manage physical activity and behavioural programs for both healthy clients and those living with chronic conditions, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, cancer, arthritis, and respiratory disease. The course also covers lifestyle and behavioural modification programs aimed at preventing and managing chronic disease and injury, along with leadership skills for working independently or within healthcare teams. The program is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.

Admissions
Entry into this course is restricted to those with a course weighted average of 60 in previous study and meet one of the following criteria: 1) Registered as an Accredited Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sports Science Australia 2) Completed a course accredited at the level of Exercise Science with Exercise and Sports Science Australia within the last five years 3) Undertaken a Graduate Entry Assessment by Exercise and Sports Science Australia to the satisfaction of the Academic Chair. For Murdoch graduates completion of B1317 with a double major in Movement Science and Sport and Health Science OR, B1348 OR B1352 meets the requirements for point 2 above.
