About this program
A two-year master's (48 credit points) open to graduates from any discipline, with three majors: Crime Science, Criminal Behaviour, and Legal Studies. The coursework covers criminological theory, criminal behaviour analysis, cybercrime, terrorism investigation, and the criminal law response to emerging offences, with an optional thesis pathway for students heading toward a PhD.
Teaching staff include people with policing and forensic backgrounds, and the degree includes work-integrated learning. Advanced standing is generous: up to 12 credit points for a criminology honours degree or relevant experience, up to 24 for a graduate diploma in criminology. It runs face-to-face and online from the Perth campus with two intakes a year.
