Master of Exercise Science (Research)

Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia

About this program

The exercise-science version of Murdoch's Research Masters with Training: a supervised research project in exercise science, sport science or clinical exercise physiology ending in a thesis, with research-methods training alongside it, normally over two years full-time. It is a research degree, not a coursework master's. Projects use Murdoch's exercise physiology and biomechanics laboratories and align with staff research in areas such as athletic performance, exercise for chronic disease, and rehabilitation. Completion can lead to assessment for PhD candidature. Entry is by a research proposal matched to a supervisor. It suits exercise and sport science graduates who want to move into research or strengthen a research record before a PhD.
