About this program

A postgraduate degree for people aiming at leadership in the health sector, covering health policy, leadership, management, economics, law, epidemiology and analytics and how they combine to drive change across the health system. Murdoch describes it as the only course of its kind in Australia. Students choose one of three specialisations: health administration and leadership, evaluation and policy, or health informatics and analytics. The degree is accredited by the Australasian College of Health Service Management, and graduates are eligible for College membership. Teaching connects students with health-sector employers locally, nationally and internationally. Graduates work as health service managers, policy analysts, evaluation leads and health data specialists.
