About this program

QUT Bachelor of Information Technology offers seven future-focused majors, including artificial intelligence, cyber security, computer science, process analytics and software development. Common first-year units let students explore the full range of majors before choosing a specialisation, and in the final year students work in a team on a capstone project solving a real problem for an industry client, presenting at the QUT end-of-year IT and Games Showcase. The degree is co-designed with industry. Entry is guaranteed with an ATAR or selection rank of 70.00 or higher, or an AQF Certificate IV, Diploma or higher, plus the other admission requirements. Indicative international tuition is around A$45,900 per year. Graduates move into artificial intelligence, cyber security, software development, business analysis and automation roles, and can progress to senior positions such as chief technology officer or chief information officer, or into research.
