About this program

QUT's Master of Public Health is a 192-credit-point degree, two years full-time or 1.5 years for graduates with a recognised health bachelor degree. It combines eight core units with a 48-credit-point major and a research component, taken as a dissertation or a shorter research project plus electives. Majors are emergency and disaster management, epidemiology and research methods, health promotion, and health, safety and environment, and students can also mix units across majors. Core units and most electives can be studied on campus or online. Graduates work in government health agencies, non-government organisations, community health, workplace health and safety, and research. Indicative international tuition is around A$41,300 per year.
