About this program
The Associate Degree in Engineering Technology at RMIT University, accredited by Engineers Australia, provides a flexible pathway to an engineering degree. Students gain broad theoretical and technical knowledge of the underlying principles of engineering, learning to analyse and interpret complex problems, communicate with a range of stakeholders, and find effective solutions to industry issues. Five majors are offered: mechanical, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and mechatronics, electrical and electronics, and civil engineering.
