About this program
The degree runs eight common core subjects, 10 communication-design specialised subjects and six electives over three years, covering print and digital design, brand strategy, packaging, typography, wayfinding and UX/UI. The elective pool is unusually wide for a design degree, drawing subjects from photography, motion graphics, 3D animation, fashion and web development so students can cross-specialise.
Core design theory subjects (Message Meaning Media, Culture of Change, Business by Design) sit alongside a Work Integrated Learning subject and a two-part Major Project/Portfolio capstone in the final year.
Delivered on campus at Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and online, 3 years full time or 6 years part time.
