Bachelor of Design
University of Canberra, Canberra, ACT, Australia
About this program
A three-year studio-based degree with five majors: interaction design, industrial design, visual communication design, game development, or a multidisciplinary design pathway. Learning is built around collaborative studio projects, with industry briefs from partners such as Breville, the National Film and Sound Archive and the National Gallery of Australia.
Work-integrated learning runs through all three years via internships, live briefs, field trips and international study tours, and students graduate with a reviewed portfolio. Entry is a selection rank of about 60, or a portfolio submission with no ATAR required. It suits people who want to solve problems through design across digital products, physical products, branding or games.
