About this program

A four-year engineering degree with honours built in, offered in two specialisations: Intelligent Robotics, covering control and dynamics of machines, industrial robotics and algorithms, and Network Engineering, covering the design and operation of software-based networked systems. It is accredited by Engineers Australia at professional engineer level and by the Australian Computer Society at professional level, and includes 450 hours of work-integrated learning through placements, site visits, fieldwork and the Engineers Without Borders Challenge. Entry is a minimum ATAR of 65 with Year 12 Mathematical Methods and IELTS 6.5. Graduates work as robotics engineers, network architects, cybersecurity engineers, data scientists and software engineers. It suits students who want an accredited engineering degree focused on robotics and networked systems rather than the traditional civil or mechanical streams.
