About this program

A three-year APAC-accredited psychology sequence covering how and why people think, feel and behave, from research methods and statistics through the core areas of the discipline. The degree on its own does not qualify anyone to work as a psychologist.

Registration requires further study: an honours year followed by either a two-year clinical or professional master's and supervised practice. High-achieving students progress to that honours year at UC. Entry is a selection rank of about 60 with alternative pathways available. It suits students heading toward professional psychology, and it also works well as a second major alongside law, business or sport science for roles in HR, policy research, marketing, disability and community health.
