About this program

A one-year pathway diploma delivered by UC College over three trimesters at the Bruce campus, worth 24 credit points, combining first-year information technology units in programming, systems and networks with a required Academic English unit and academic-skills teaching. On completion, students progress directly into the second year of University of Canberra IT and computing bachelor's degrees. Entry requires IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. It suits students, particularly international students, who do not meet direct entry or who want a supported first year with built-in English development. UC College runs the same model in Business, Communication, Design, Health and Science.
