About this program
A one-year pathway diploma delivered by UC College over three trimesters at the Bruce campus, worth 24 credit points, combining first-year science units in biology, chemistry and quantitative methods with a required Academic English unit and academic-skills teaching. On completion, students move directly into the second year of University of Canberra science bachelor's degrees. Entry requires IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. It suits students, particularly international students, who do not meet direct entry or who want a supported first year while strengthening English and laboratory skills. UC College runs the same model in Business, Communication, Design, Health and Information Technology.
