About this program

A 12 credit point graduate certificate in counselling theory and skills, the entry stage of UC's counselling pathway. It articulates with full credit into the Graduate Diploma in Counselling and then the Master of Counselling, which is accredited by the Australian Counselling Association and includes 200 hours of supervised placement. The certificate on its own is an introductory qualification, not a route to practise as a counsellor. It suits people exploring a move into counselling who want to test the field before committing to the full master's.
