About this program

A 24 credit point graduate diploma in teaching English to speakers of other languages and foreign language teaching, sitting between UC's Graduate Certificate and the two-year Master of TESOL and Foreign Language Teaching. It covers second language acquisition, methodology, curriculum and assessment in more depth than the certificate. All units are credited in full toward the master's. Registration to teach in Australian schools is a separate process. It suits people moving into language teaching who want a substantial qualification and a staged route to the master's.
