About this program

A one-year, 24 credit point master's in educational leadership, available on campus or blended, made up of eight units covering leadership and management theory, organisational change, comparative education and educational futures, and ending with a research project. Entry requires a bachelor's degree plus at least three years of relevant experience in education or public administration, and IELTS 6.5 for international applicants. It is aimed squarely at people already working in education who are moving toward formal leadership: aspiring and current principals, deputy principals, education officers and administrators. Graduates work as school and system leaders, district and sector administrators and early childhood directors. It suits mid-career educators who want a focused, one-year leadership qualification rather than a broader two-year master's.
