About this program

An accelerated graduate-entry master's that compresses a normal three-year radiography qualification into 2.5 years. Entry is a bachelor's degree in any field with a credit average plus at least two degree-level units of anatomy and physiology, with introductory physics, psychology and statistics assumed, and IELTS 7.0 in every band.

It is an approved program of study with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia, so graduates can apply for registration as a diagnostic radiographer. Clinical training is substantial: four five-week placement blocks and two 13-week residencies across general radiography, CT, MRI, mammography and ultrasound, after practising on campus equipment first. It suits graduates changing career into diagnostic imaging who want the fastest registrable route.
