About this program
A two-year graduate-entry nursing degree for people who already hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline and want to become a registered nurse. It is taught in intensive theory blocks supported by online content and interspersed with clinical placements.
Students complete 800 hours of supervised clinical practice across settings including medical and surgical wards, emergency, intensive care, paediatrics and aged care, at Canberra Hospital and regional NSW facilities. The course is accredited by ANMAC and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, so graduates are eligible to apply for registration as a nurse through AHPRA. Entry requires a completed degree with a credit average finished within the last ten years, IELTS 7.0, and the usual immunisation, police and first-aid clearances. It suits career changers committed to clinical nursing.
