About this program
A two-year master's (48 credit points) that qualifies graduates as an Accredited Practising Dietitian through Dietitians Australia, a credential recognised internationally. Year one is eight units of clinical, community and research content; year two is almost entirely placement.
Students complete up to 24 weeks of full-time workplace education across hospitals, community health services and food service settings, plus an additional four-week internship that UC builds in for networking and job-seeking. Entry is demanding: a bachelor's degree in human nutrition plus specific degree-level study in chemistry, human biology and physiology, biochemistry, and food and nutrition science, and IELTS 7.0 with no band below 7.0.
