About this program
A two-year graduate-entry master's, starting in Semester 2, open to graduates of any discipline with a credit average. Students complete 1,000 hours of practical education in hospitals, clinics, community organisations, schools and aged care, locally and interstate, with placements run full-time and travel and accommodation at the student's expense.
The degree is accredited by the Occupational Therapy Council of Australia and approved by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, so graduates can apply for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and have their qualification recognised in many other countries. Entry requires IELTS 7.0 with no band below 7.0, a police check, Working with Vulnerable People registration, immunisation records, and first aid and CPR. It suits graduates committed to enabling people with disability, injury or age-related limitation to take part in daily life.

A completed bachelor's degree in any discipline with a credit (65%) or higher average (or equivalent). Limited-entry program; places are offered on academic merit and meeting the requirements does not guarantee a place. Anatomy and physiology are taught within the course.
