About this program
The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research at the University of Melbourne is a two-year course for experienced medical and health professionals across biomedical, medical, nursing, allied health and social science disciplines who want to build a career in clinical research. Students build on clinical research methodology and ethics from the graduate certificate, then apply their skills through project management and knowledge translation, with an elective stream in clinical trial design, clinical neuroscience and imaging, or eHealth and bioinformatics.
The course works with major partner health services and meets entry requirements for further study, including a PhD pathway. Graduates gain specialist competencies highly regarded by employers.

Admissions
To be considered for entry into this course, you must: Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) or equivalent in a cognate (relevant) discipline. Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Medicine, an allied health profession, science or social science. And Have one year of documented relevant experience in a medical, scientific or allied health environment.
