Master of Information Technology
University of Melbourne, Melbourne, VIC, Australia
About this program
The Master of Information Technology at the University of Melbourne is for graduates who want advanced technical IT skills, with specialisations in cybersecurity, distributed computing, human-computer interaction or artificial intelligence; students can also choose not to specialise and use electives to build toward app development, data analytics or game development. It runs two years full-time, or one to 1.5 years with relevant prior study. Standard entry is a three-year undergraduate degree with a major in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related discipline and a weighted average of at least 65 per cent (H3); a four-year degree in the field instead requires either advanced study in the specialisation area or two years of documented relevant work experience. International tuition is about A$71,900 per year. Graduates build technical solutions across business, government, health and entertainment.
