Admissions
An applicant for admission to the Doctoral Degree (Research), which includes the Doctor of Philosophy (Medicine), must have completed a Bachelor with Honours Class 1 or Honours Class II Division 1 (or an equivalent degree approved by the Head of School), or hold a Bachelor degree together with subsequent work and study recognised as equivalent to at least Honours Class II Division 1. In exceptional cases, other academic or professional qualifications and experience approved by the Head of School may be accepted, and in some disciplines a required minimum standard of professional experience may also satisfy admission. All applicants must also secure a supervisory team and submit a Research Proposal, Curriculum Vitae, and academic transcripts through the university's Graduate Research Application System.
