About this program
The Doctor of Clinical Dentistry is a three-year postgraduate program at UQ for qualified general dentists who want to specialise, preparing them for specialist registration and practice. Fields of study include dento-maxillofacial radiology, endodontics, oral medicine, orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics and special needs dentistry, taught at UQ's Oral Health Centre at the Herston campus. Graduates practise as registered dental specialists in their chosen field, in private practice, hospitals and academia.
