About this program
Curtin University's Doctor of Pharmacy degree. This program provides graduates with advanced knowledge in pharmacy applicable across a range of practice settings. Learnings will include recent developments in full scope of practice, and knowledge of research principles and methods applicable to the practice of a pharmacist. Extensive work integrated learning will allow students to demonstrate competence in and commitment to the knowledge, skills and behaviours of a pharmacist. After Australian Pharmacy Council accreditation, graduates from this program will have completed the pre-registration training requirements to be eligible to sit the exams for registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Master Degrees (Extended) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for professional practice and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications.

Applicants for a Master Degree (Extended) are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; . Applicants generally require a Bachelor Degree or Graduate Certificate.
