About this program
The University of Newcastle's Master of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a two-year degree designed for both experienced professionals and people new to the field. It merges data science fundamentals, including data processing, visualisation and predictive modelling, with machine learning and Big Data technologies for storing and analysing large structured and unstructured datasets. Students choose one of two specialisations, Computational Intelligence or Health Data Analysis, and complete an industry or research project. Graduates work as data scientists, machine learning engineers, data analysts and analytics consultants across health, finance, government and technology.
