About this program
The University of Newcastle's Master of Public Health is an 80-unit degree, one year full-time or two years part-time, available on campus or online. It is built from 40 units of core courses and 40 units chosen from a wide course list, so students can focus on areas such as epidemiology, biostatistics, health promotion or health services management. The program gives a broad grounding in identifying, evaluating and responding to public health problems at both local and global scale, and can also be taken as a double degree with health management and policy or with social change and development. Graduates work in government health agencies, non-government organisations, community health and research. Indicative international tuition is around A$46,400 per year.
