About this program
The Bachelor of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame Australia is a three year degree delivered in a collegiate style that encourages discussion and personal reflection. The program covers Ancient, Medieval and Modern philosophy while engaging with contemporary problems addressed by both analytic and continental philosophy, and takes seriously the Catholic philosophical tradition, which emphasises considering ideas from multiple points of view. Students can pair the degree with a Major or Minor in Theology, History, English Literature, Politics and International Relations, Behavioural Science or Social Justice, or study Philosophy and Theology as a Major within a School of Arts and Sciences degree.

Admissions
Recent secondary education: Indicative ATAR or Selection Rank of 70 (Selection Ranks include ATAR plus Adjustment Factors), or an International Baccalaureate score of 25. Higher education applicants: successful completion of 4 subjects at undergraduate level or higher, or completion of Notre Dame's Tertiary Pathway Program or an equivalent tertiary preparation program. Vocational education, work and life experience pathways are also considered, alongside the university's standard minimum age and English language requirements.
