About this program
The Bachelor of Music (Honours) is a one-year full-time program at the St Lucia campus for musicians who want to explore a specialist area of music in greater depth. Students undertake advanced coursework while planning and completing a substantial research or creative project, with close supervision, and strengthen their creative and academic capability through performance, analysis and research. It is taught by nationally and internationally acclaimed music professionals. The program can open doors to professional music careers and to postgraduate study and research. Graduates work as performers, composers and creative practitioners, music educators, and in arts administration and the wider music industry.
