About this program
The Master of Audiology Studies is a two-year full-time program at UQ's St Lucia campus that qualifies graduates as entry-level clinical audiologists. It integrates the theoretical foundations of audiology with practical clinical skills across hearing assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation, and includes the opportunity to undertake a research project. UQ is recognised internationally for its audiology graduates and research focus. Graduates work as audiologists in hearing clinics, hospitals, paediatric and rehabilitation services, hearing device companies and research, in Australia and overseas.

Admissions
Study in fields such as health, humanities, education, social, physical or biological sciences is recommended. You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification. The GPA cut-off for those offered a place in 2023 was: 4.25.An applicant whose approved degree was awarded more than 10 years prior to program commencement will not be considered unless the applicant within the last 10 years has completed: a postgraduate program, or at least one semester full-time (or equivalent) of other approved university level studyEntry is competitive, with a limited intake.Applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander who meet the minimum entry requirements for this program will be offered a place. On admission to the program, you will need to provide evidence of your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status.
