Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry)

University of Queensland, Brisbane, QLD, Australia

About this program

The University of Queensland's Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry) is a two-year graduate-entry pathway to registration for people whose first degree is in another field. One important restriction applies: UQ states that international students who wish to undertake this program do not qualify for a student visa, so it is open to onshore applicants who already hold another Australian visa or residency with sufficient study entitlement. Completing the degree does not by itself guarantee registration, which is determined by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The course combines nursing theory and bioscience with supervised clinical placements. Graduates begin practice as registered nurses. Indicative international tuition is around A$36,400 per year.
