About this program
The Bachelor of Advanced Computing is a four-year degree that pairs core computing and programming with a research-informed advanced computing stream. Students choose a specialisation in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Development or Computational Data Science, and can combine it with a second major drawn from the University's shared pool of more than 100 study areas. The course is delivered face to face at the Camperdown/Darlington campus and carries 192 credit points. The Australian Computer Society has accredited the degree at the conditional professional level to the end of 2026, with reaccreditation for 2027 under way. Graduates work as software architects, cybersecurity analysts, data analysts, systems analysts, machine learning engineers and start-up founders across major technology companies, government and research.
