About this program
At the University of Sydney, engineering is offered as the four-year Bachelor of Engineering Honours rather than a three-year Bachelor of Engineering. The Honours degree includes engineering foundation units, engineering project units and a chosen engineering stream such as civil, mechanical, electrical, software, biomedical, aeronautical, or chemical and biomolecular engineering, plus the Professional Engagement Program of industry experience. It can be studied on its own or combined with arts, commerce, science, project management, music studies or law, with combined degrees running five years or more. Entry is competitive and based on the ATAR or an equivalent international qualification, with mathematics prerequisites. This page is kept for reference because a plain Bachelor of Engineering still appears in the CRICOS register and older listings. International tuition is around A$63,400 per year.
