About this program
The Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) is a four-year degree that builds a specialisation in the science of human behaviour, covering the neurobiological, cognitive, social, developmental and clinical foundations of psychology along with research methods. Teaching is research-led, with access to facilities including the Charles Perkins Centre and the Brain and Mind Centre. The final honours year involves a substantial supervised research project. Completing the accredited Level 1 and Level 2 sequence provides the foundation for the postgraduate training and supervised practice required to register as a psychologist. Graduates also work in market and social research, school counselling support, human resources, advertising, science communication and public policy, or continue to postgraduate study in clinical, forensic, organisational or sport psychology.
