About this program

The Bachelor of Visual Arts, taught through Sydney College of the Arts, develops the conceptual, theoretical and technical skills needed to work as a practising artist or in the wider creative industries. Students study contemporary art, art history, design and digital cultures, and produce work across mediums including ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting, photography, printmedia, screen arts and sculpture, supported by an experienced technical team. Teaching staff are practising artists, writers and curators with active industry networks. The degree is delivered face to face at the Camperdown/Darlington campus. Graduates work as artists, curators, arts writers, digital artists, illustrators, producers, product designers, conservators and museum educators, with some roles requiring further study.
