About this program
The Bachelor of Visual Arts at the University of Sydney builds the conceptual, theoretical and technical skills to practise as an artist or work across the creative industries. Students complete six studio units across disciplines including ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting, photomedia, printmedia, screen arts or sculpture, plus four art history units and electives or a second major from across the University.
Students are taught by practising artists, writers and curators with extensive professional networks, using well-equipped studio production facilities. Graduates work as artists, curators, arts writers, digital artists, illustrators, filmmakers and museum educators.
