About this program
The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney is a fully online course for clinicians and clinical researchers who want to design, run and interpret clinical research. Over 24 credit points of core and elective units, students build structured, end-to-end research skills covering concept development, study design, statistical analysis and translating findings into practice and policy.

Admissions
Admission to the course requires: a medical degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or a bachelors degree in a health-related discipline with first or second class honours from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or a pass bachelors degree in a health-related discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification. Applicants must have completed work equivalent to a first or second class honours bachelors degree or pass a preliminary examination(s) as prescribed by the Faculty; or completion of the first 4 years of an undergraduate medical degree that is accredited by the Australian Medical Council, and a letter of recommendation from the head of clinical school/medical program supporting concurrent enrolment while completing degree requirements. All students entering the program are expected to have some clinical experience.
