About this program

The Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Surgical Dentistry) at the University of Sydney develops the clinical techniques qualified dentists need for oral surgery in general practice. Students complete 48 credit points and a research project in oral surgery each semester, covering oral medicine, oral pathology and dental implants under the direction of specialist clinical staff.
The course is designed for local and international dentists who want to build surgical dentistry skills and a basis for further specialist training toward registration with the Australian Dental Board, or a career in research and clinical academia.
